Miami and the Siege of Chicago (1968) is an account of the 1968 Democratic and Republican conventions.

The Prisoner of Sex (1971) criticised the women's liberation movement. They didn't like him very much either.

McCarthy is still remembered in US politics today, but not in a good way. This cartoon from the 2012 presidential election shows Michele Bachmann, who wanted to become the Republican presidential candidate against Barack Obama. Although the Soviet Union was the first to put a man in space, the US decisively won the Space Race of the 1960s when they landed men on the moon in July 1969.
